About

Hi, I’m Aidan, a research engineer on the STREAM-IDC program studying at Newcastle University. My project is fueled by and cake.

I am hoping this blog will document some of my research into the field of Microbial Source Tracking as we try to develop it further in the UK to help improve bathing and surface water quality in the North East of England.

To find out about my project start here.

I love chatting about anything to do with impacts on environmental and human health, water, sustainability, and policy.

So if you fancy a chat please get in touch.
